About Us
Our Mission
We support children, families, and emerging adults through trauma-informed, culturally grounded services that strengthen resilience, foster belonging, deepen community connections, and build a foundation for lasting well-being.
For more than 50 years, Key has received the strong support of public agencies, private foundations, and the social services community as a whole. Our leadership, in reshaping the lives of youth and their families, has been rewarded with the continued support of many organizations.
We believe that the significant work and treatment that our valued and caring team of employees provide, each and every day, to the children, youth and families we serve, is An experience for a lifetime. Nothing is more important to us than continuing this commitment to excellence and leadership in child welfare.
Key was founded in 1974 in response to Massachusetts' closing its so called "training schools" for juveniles.
Our organization is lead by a talented Board of professionals who EMBRACE and LIVE our mission.
Key's leadership team is committed to social services and the betterment of the lives of youth and their families.
